I was raised near Detroit, Michigan but have called Williston home since 1997. Along with a B.A. from Wayne State University in Interior Architecture, I have additional studies in Architecture and Dark Room/Film Photography. In 2013 I spent six months studying documentary, portrait and wedding photography at Montana’s Rocky Mountain school of photography.
My other interests include birds, horses, collecting succulent plants, travel, creative dining and finding design in all aspects of life.
Photography allows me to give a certain order to what I see. I use it to define an object, a moment in time or the way I experience people. Shape, line, texture, shadow, asymmetrical composition, color and relationships all play a part in the final image.
