Photography allows me to apply a certain order to what I see.  I use it to define an object, a moment in time or a person the way I experience them. Shape, line, texture, shadow, asymmetrical composition, color and relationships all play a part in the final image.

I was raised near Detroit, Michigan but have called Williston home since November 14,1997. Education that has shaped my photography includes a B.A. from Wayne State University in Interior Architecture with additional formal studies in Architecture and Dark Room/Film Photography.  In the summer and fall of 2013, I pursued studies in documentary, studio, portrait and wedding photography at Montana’s Rocky Mountain School of Photography.

My other interests include birds, horses, collecting succulent plants, travel, creative dining and finding design in all aspects of life.
